Navigating the past few weeks with my mom passing away has been one of the craziest roads I've ever walked.
If you've lost someone close to you, then know that it all comes in wild waves of peace and pain. There are moments you hear a song in a restaurant and just start weepingbecause you miss them and then there are moments that feel almost as if a blanket of peace and understanding has wrapped around you and there's joy in their ascension.
I am eternally grateful for this man I get the privileges to call my husband and best friend. He has so steadfastly stood and held me through the waves and he has never stopped extending his arms around me, enveloping me in love and reminding me to press into the One in whom all hope, trust, peace, love and eternity is found. Cause guys,
There is no road map, no guide book, or user's manual that tells you where to go or what to do. There is only Jesus and the love He pours out to us and into others for us. There is only the arms, hands, and genuine hugs from the ones we love that help soothe, heal, and restore our hearts. There is only the peace of eternity that is seeded in every heart to remind us all that heaven is a homecoming.
“He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the human heart; yet no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end.” - Ecclesiastes 3:11
